About the Allen & Heath Qu

The Qu series arrived in 2013 and put motorised-fader digital mixing within reach of venues and churches that had been priced out of it. Qu-16, Qu-24 and Qu-32 are conventional surfaces; QuPac and QuSB drop the faders for a rack or stagebox format. All models share a single firmware train, and the range has had an unusually long support life. The Qu series has been revived in 2025, upgrading to 96kHz and a new sleek design

How Allen & Heath ships firmware

Allen & Heath firmware updates ship per family rather than per model, so an SQ-5, SQ-6 and SQ-7 all take the same release. Downgrading is sometimes necessary when a show file was built on an older version, which is why every archived version stays available here.

Verifying what you download

Every Allen & Heath Qu-6 file in this archive lists the SHA-256 checksum recorded the moment we mirrored it, plus a link to the original Allen & Heath source URL. Before loading firmware onto a console, run shasum -a 256 <file> (macOS/Linux) or certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256 (Windows) and compare it to the value in the table above.
