About the Allen & Heath Avantis

Avantis, launched in 2020, packages the dLive XCVI engine into a single self-contained 64-channel surface with two full-HD touchscreens. It sits between SQ and dLive: more processing and channel count than SQ, without the separate MixRack that dLive assumes. Firmware releases are shared with the wider XCVI family and are cumulative.

How Allen & Heath ships firmware

Allen & Heath firmware updates ship per family rather than per model, so an SQ-5, SQ-6 and SQ-7 all take the same release. Downgrading is sometimes necessary when a show file was built on an older version, which is why every archived version stays available here.
