About the Violet Audio dMix
The dMix 128 is a networked FPGA mixing system offering up to 128 channels and 88 buses at 96 kHz, with sub-millisecond round-trip latency and no control surface of its own. It began shipping in 2026 and is aimed at live sound, broadcast, installation and immersive work.
How Violet Audio ships firmware
The dMix platform is new and iterating quickly, so version history is worth keeping. Archived releases here carry SHA-256 checksums so you can verify a file before loading it into a production system.
Verifying what you download
Every Violet Audio dmix 128 file in this archive lists the SHA-256 checksum recorded the moment we
mirrored it, plus a link to the original Violet Audio source URL. Before loading firmware
onto a console, run shasum -a 256 <file> (macOS/Linux) or
certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256 (Windows) and compare it to the value in
the table above. If they differ, do not load the file.
